About Me
My name is Alexander Sutherland. I'm 21 years old and live in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. I have a very wide range of interests, from year-round backcountry camping to raising pet cockatiels, SCUBA diving to metalworking and welding! My workshop is where I bring all my interests together. This site is my attempt to share some of what I've learned from others with the rest of the world.
My father is a professional cabinet maker, and I was raised helping with home renovations and operating woodworking machinery. I was always fascinated with metalworking and welding, so as soon as I could afford it, I bought the machines you see on this site and have had a fantastic time with them.

One last quick note, I need to point out that I am not a professional engineer or electrician. I have no formal education on anything seen on this site.
